Dear Friends!
Many Greetings from Glorious ministry in Nepal.
I am so sorry to write this news! You might have already known through the media. One of the Churchs in the South-east part of Nepal was gathering on the 29th of Sep. For a conference and there was around 1500 people togther for the worship in the conference and the people were from all around Nepal and some of them were from India. They had built a temporary cottage for the people that attended the conference. While people were there, sleeping, most of the people were on the top floor. There was a heavy rain at night, and at 11:30 at night the cottage collapsed. 4 Children and 23 Adults were killed among them, 17 were women. And 65 were badly injured.
Right after event, the home minister of the government visited the church. The government of Nepal promised to help to the all the people who died and at hospital. We can say that, this accident happened because of the miss-management of conference committee and their carelessness. Because, firstly, they should not build 3 a floor tall big bamboo cottage and secondly should not have allowed to around 1400 people to stay in and around the cottage.
However we are so sorry for the things happened in Nepal.
Here is the official report from the website:
Home Minister Bhim Rawal

At least 23 people were killed and 65 others injured when a three-storey bamboo shed built on the Zion Prayer House premises at Dharan Municipality-19 in Sunsari district collapsed on Tuesday night.
According to police, the structure collapsed as the jute ropes used to put the bamboo poles together were damaged after continuous rainfall throughout the afternoon.
The temporary shed with capacity to accommodate 200 people was also overcrowded with 700 when it crumbled down.
Police personnel and local people were involved in the rescue and most of the victims were females.
